Business is booming for MB Wireline, Completions and Pumping services. With a total of 25 wireline units, 4 pumping units and completions workshop and running services, in 2006, MB Completions secured two major contracts, one with Occidental and the other with PDO. The PDO contract was a major success for MB Completions, not only the contract was renewed for the next 5 years but also MB completions was given full operations of the business, in contrast to where the operations were shared between Schlomberger and MB Completions in the past. This contract started on the July 1st, 2006. The second MB Completions contract with Occidental was also a major success for the department as it took over the business from Halliburton, which had the contract for the last 15 years. This contract started on February 15th, 2007.
