MB IT awarded by
Oracle
Jawed Khan, MB IT
Manager, was given the Award for Business Excellence by Oracle
on October 13, 2008 at the CIO Executive Conference hosted
jointly by the Information Technology Authority (ITA) and Oracle
at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The event was attended by Chief
Information Officers of Government and private enterprises with
dignitaries from Government, the Telecommunications Regulatory
Authority and the ITA. MB was one of three organizations short
listed for the award. The other two organizations were: Ministry
of Civil Services and the Information Technology Authority.
As part of session various organizations were invited to share
their IT project implementation experience and lessons learned.
MB briefed the audience on the MB Group’s business activities,
IT infrastructure and Oracle applications implemented in various
MB companies and articulated the lessons learned in the
implementation of such projects.
