Dr. Yahya Abdul Gawad
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Yahya has been
working for MB Holding since May 2008.
He has extensive experience in the following departments in
Khoula Hospital- Sultanate of Oman - Accident and Emergency,
Orthopaedic, General Surgery, Plastic and Hand-Surgery and Uro-Surgery.
He is also a former member in a number of committees such as -
infection control, morbidity and mortality, hospital management.
Dr. Yahya was actively involved in the 5 year plan for improving
emergency services in Oman. He has worked as a medical officer
in charge at Khoula Hospital in 1999 and Assistant to the
Hospital Director.
He holds a Degree in Medicine and Surgery from Alexandria
University in Egypt, and a Diploma in Occupational Medicine from
the Royal Society of Public Health in London, UK.
He is certified from Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency
Medicine in USA for Advanced Trauma Life Support and advanced
cardiac life support.
