H.E Dr. Mohammed Al Barwani is the founder and Chairman of MB LLC. He has investments in diversified industries. He is on the board of Al Madina Takaful SAOG and Watania Takaful (Abu Dhabi), and was chosen to be the Chairman of Oman Air. Currently, H.E Dr. Al Barwani serves as the honorary consul of Monaco for Oman. In 2022 H.E Dr. Al Barwani received the Royal Order of Commendation, Second Class in Oman for his effective societal contributions.

Sharifa Al Harthy is the Chairperson of MB Foundation,  which aims to provide support to our local community in areas of education, healthcare and social welfare. She has played a vital role in setting up the MB Group of Companies since its inception in 1982. She has been announced by Forbes Middle East among the 100 Most Powerful Arab Business Women.

Usama Al Barwani is the Vice Chairman for MB LLC and Managing Director of Petrogas Exploration and Production, the upstream oil and gas exploration and production arm of MB LLC. He oversees the long-term strategic plan for Petrogas internationally and directs the company’s vision. On a Group level, Usama oversees the integration and cooperation among Group companies and the development of shared direction, especially in terms of sustainability and culture.

Usama Al Barwani is also on the board of Oceanco Yachts in Holland and Turquoise yachts in Turkey. Additionally, he is a member of the board of Arcapita Bank, a Bahrain-based Islamic Merchant Bank and Private Equity company, as well as Watania Takaful, a Dubai-listed Takaful Insurance company. Previously, he was a board member of Toronto Stock Exchange listed Nautilus Minerals Inc, and was the Chairman of Oman based Ubar Hotels and Resorts

Usama received a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Tulsa University and an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance from City University’s Cass Business School in London.

Tariq Al Barwani is the Managing Director of Mohammed Al Barwani Petroleum Services (MBPS),  Mawarid Mining, United Engineering Services (UES), and Al Sharqiya Aviation (ASA), where he focuses on further developing the companies, in additio to directing them to follow their strategies via LEAN methodologies and corporate performance management.

Tariq is also a Director of several subsidiary companies within the MB Group which has wide ranging interests in oilfield services, exploration of oil, gas, minerals, investment & financial services.

Tariq holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the Imperial College in London and a Masters of Business Administration specializing in Strategy and Leadership from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Iman Al Barwani is the CEO of MB Foundation, where she is actively involved in the functions of the charity along with its Chairperson Sharifa Al Harthy.

Iman al Barwani also sits on the board of various charitable organizations, namely the Student Support Fund of Al Sharqiya University and the Oman Charitable Organization. She is a holder of the ‘Special Merit Award’ at the Al Mara Awards for Excellence.

She holds a degree in International Communications from Franklin College in Switzerland.

Safana Al Barwani is the Managing Director of MUSSTIR, where she oversees the development and management of all properties on behalf of the MB Group of Companies.

Safana is also on the Board of Directors of Madina Takaful SAOG and Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. Additionally, she sits on the board of trustees of Oman Tourism College.

Safana received her bachelor degree from The University of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rahma Al Barwani is the Innovation Hub Manager and shareholder of MB LLC, where she focuses on leading the effort to unlock, reward, and facilitate innovation across the MB Group of companies. Previously, Rahma was the Marketing and Communications Manager at Musstir LLC.

Rahma holds a Bachelor of Communications and Media Studies from Franklin College in Switzerland in 2013 and received a post-graduate Filmmaking Diploma from the London Film Academy in 2014. Additionally, Rahma received an MA in Innovation Management from the University of the Arts: Central Saint Martins in 2022.

Said Al Jabri is the Chief Executive Officer at MB LLC, where he oversees the progress MB LLC and subsidiary companies against their established strategies. He provides strategic direction to develop corporate profitability and ROI. His professional experience spans more than 26 years in the public and private sectors in Oman and overseas in the oil and gas industry. Said holds a master’s degree in Business & Admin from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.

Namit is MB's Group Legal Counsel. He has been with the Group for over 12 years with an overall experience of over 23 years in the areas of corporate finance, structured and conventional fundraising (listed/unlisted), cross-border transactions, commercial/legal negotiations, inbound and outbound mergers & acquisitions, litigation and corporate/tax structuring/restructuring.

Badran is the Chief Human Resources Officer of MB LLC, where he focuses on overseeing the progress of the One HR Function across the different group entities and leading the HR function towards supporting business excellence. His experience in the executive Human Resources Management spans more than 25 years across public and private sectors in Oman and the UK.  Badran Holds a Master’s Degree from Aston University, and is a Chartered Member of MCIP.

Dr. Dhishaan Al Shanfari is the Chief medical officer of MB LLC.  She is responsible for ensuring good health and wellbeing of the employees of all MB Group of companies in Oman. She also makes sure to decrease in industrial injuries by promoting health occupation rules and regulations. In addition, she sets up the medical fitness standards for all candidates.
